Editor-in-Chief

Michael Beard (he/they) holds an MFA in Poetry from Bowling Green State University. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in BOOTH Journal, trampset, Puerto Del Sol, and other places. Michael served as Managing Editor for Mid-American Review in Fall ’22 and Spring ’23, and is now Editor-in-Chief of the online literary magazine Paraselene. They currently live in Cincinnati and teach English at Northern Kentucky University. Michael can be found on Twitter and Instagram @themichaelbeard.

Angelica Esquivel (she/her) is a Xicana writer and artist from Fostoria, Ohio. Her work has appeared in Poet Lore, Beloit Poetry Journal, and Cream City Review. She received the 2021 Zocalo Poetry Prize and the 2022 Roadrunner Review Cover Art Prize. She earned her MFA in Fiction at Bowling Green State University.
